Rabindranath Tagore(1861-1941), it's not only a name that also the emotion of 'BANGALI'.He was a Bengali poet, painter,song composer, playwright, essayist, novelist.In one word he was a multi talented person.He reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.He wrote in Bengali and translate his work into English. He was the  first Indian and also non-European to be awarded the "Nobel Prize" for literature in 1913 with his book Gitanjali.
         A period of prolonged agony ended with Tagore's death on 7 August 1941.
